What's inside the course:
This course walks through the foundation of regulation, piece by piece:
- Biomedical factors — the underlying physical conditions that affect regulation
- Motor planning — how the body plans and carries out movement
- Visual processing — how a child takes in and makes sense of what they see
- Auditory processing — how a child takes in and makes sense of what they hear
- Sensory processing — how all incoming sensory information gets organized
- Arousal — how a child's alertness and energy shift throughout the day
- Emotional modulation — how feelings build, spike, and settle
By the end, you'll understand each piece on its own, and how they work together.
